Typodermic Fonts is an independent digital type foundry specializing in display and techno typefaces for professional use. Established in 2001, the library includes 381 non-free font families, totaling 3,143 individual styles. It also features 88 free-for-commercial-use families (928 styles), along with 430 fonts in the public domain.
The focus is on distinctive, modern typefaces made for real-world applications such as branding, packaging, games, broadcast, and digital interfaces. The library covers a wide range—from eccentric experiments to straightforward workhorses—but everything is designed with usability in mind.
Many of the fonts are free to download, while others are available under commercial licenses. Licensing terms vary by distributor. If you’re unsure how a specific font can be used, check the licensing information or feel free to get in touch.
Typodermic Fonts was founded by Canadian designer Raymond Larabie and is currently based in Nagoya, Japan.
