Superclarendon

Superclarendon is a contemporary interpretation of the 19th-century Clarendon slab serif, designed with broader proportions, sturdy slab serifs, and subtly squared curves. Created from the ground up, it retains the strength and familiarity of its historical predecessor while introducing a cleaner, more versatile structure for modern use.

Unlike many Clarendon revivals that lean on ornamental italics, Superclarendon uses a straightforward slant for its italic styles, preserving the typeface’s solid, no-nonsense character. The family includes four weights with matching italics, plus old-style numerals, giving designers flexibility for everything from impactful headlines to confident, readable text.
