Emory is a condensed sans typeface with a built-in coarse print texture. Square joints and tight curves keep the shapes clear, while the surface roughening adds heat without sacrificing legibility. At display sizes the abrasion is bold; in smaller settings it reads as a light scuff.

Four styles—Regular, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic—let you choose the level of wear. Automatic alternates vary repeated letters (like ee, ll, tt) to avoid the tiled look that textured fonts can create.

Use Emory when the smooth option won’t do: dystopian book covers, industrial packaging, outdoor and survival branding, and underground posters. It brings a worked-over, human surface to otherwise clean geometry.
